Grey County Seed & Feed Show to be held Dec. 4

Nov. 26, 2013, Grey County, Ont. – The Grey County Seed & Feed Show and annual meeting is scheduled to be held Wednesday Dec. 4 at the Chatsworth Community Centre. 

A number of key note speakers will address the audience, including:

  • Amy Kitchen, workshop leader with OSCIA, who will provide updates on the Environmental Farm Plan (EFP) and Growing Your Farm Profits (GYFP),
  • Todd Woodhouse, agronomist with DeKalb, who will discuss the year in review and what we can learn, and
  • Chris Roelands, from Honeyland Ag Services, who will address nitrogen strategies for 2014.
The Forage Masters Presentation will take place during the day to local winners, including Paul De Jong, Ontario Forage Masters Winner. Alongside the speaker presentations, the annual See & Feed Show and trade show exhibits will run during the day. A hot roast beef lunch will be served at noon.
