Great strides made in Saskatchewan seeding progress

May 30, 2014 - Great strides were made this week as Saskatchewan producers now have 64 per cent of the crop seeded according to Saskatchewan Agriculture's weekly Crop Report.

This is up from 22 per cent last week. The five-year (2009-2013) seeding average for this time of year is also 64 per cent. Warm and dry weather allowed most producers to return to the field after rain delays last week.
