Good growing conditions in Manitoba

July 28, 2014 - Another week of generally good growing conditions have advanced crops in Manitoba, as well as allowed crops impacted by excessive moisture to continue their recovery.

According to the province's most recent crop report, good weather conditions have also permitted producers to make excellent progress with haying operations.

Reported yields are average to above average with good quality. Disease pressure and insect activity continue to be monitored.
