Canada may have a new trading partner, at least where wheat sales are concerned. In 2009, Canada sold 1.4 million tonnes of wheat to Iraq, almost 10 percent of overall wheat exports, and second only to sales to the United States.

Sept. 13, 2010 – Canada may have a new trading partner, at least where
wheat sales are concerned. In 2009, Canada sold 1.4 million tonnes of
wheat to Iraq, almost 10 percent of overall wheat exports, and second
