A semi-annual report from Farm Credit Canada indicates the average value of farmland in Canada increased 3.0 percent during the first half of 2010.

Oct. 5, 2010 – A semi-annual report from Farm Credit Canada indicates
the average value of farmland in Canada increased 3.0 percent during
the first half of 2010, with Ontario values increasing by 4.3 percent.
Saskatchewan and Alberta tied for fourth on the list with a 2.9 percent
