Farming Smarter Conference Dec. 3-4

Nov. 20, 2013, Lethbridge, AB - The Farming Smarter conference is scheduled for December 3-4, in Lethbridge, Alta.

Speakers include Dr. Martin Parry with Rothamsted Research in Harpenden Herts, UK, who will talk about the 20:20 Wheat Strategic Programme. Drew Lerner with World Weather Inc., a company that supports the agricultural industry by providing detailed short and long range weather predictions for each major crop area in the world, will talk about southern Alberta's unique climate.

The conference will also feature updates from Farming Smarter, local scientists and Alberta crop associations.
