Farmers fleeing Ontario’s Greenbelt

Dec. 23, 2009 – Livestock farmers are reportedly leaving the two million-acre greenbelt region surrounding Toronto, tired of encroaching urbanites and meddling environmentalists who now seem to be winning a policy battle geared to protecting the land instead of farming it.
