Profitable Pastures 2020

The Ontario Forage Council will hold their annual Profitable Pastures conference in Mount Forest, with remote locations to be announced in the near future. This year’s keynote speaker is Bill Thomas of BT Agronomy, who has worked to develop agricultural policies and awareness for over 30 years, and was the recipient of the 2019 Canadian Forage and Grassland Association’s Leadership award.

There will also be presentations by John Molenhuis, OMAFRA Business Analysis Cost Production Specialist, 2019 Mapleseed Sheep Pasture Award recipients Carrie Woolley and Brett Schuyler, and Christine O’Reilly, OMAFRA Forage and Grazing Specialist. Presentations are CEU-accredited.

The cost of this year’s conference is $50 and includes a hot lunch. Registration deadline is March 9th, 2020. Registrations will be accepted at the door, but may not include the hot lunch.
