The tour runs from 9:00 to 11:30 am. The event, hosted by The Lethbridge Cropping Systems group, features eight different projects on site and includes a demonstration related to another project.

The walking plot tour takes place south off the Lethbridge Research and Development Centre on the eastern outskirts of the city. From the intersection of 43 Street, turn east on Highway 512 for 1.2 km, turn south on Range Road 21-2 – Research Centre Road – for 800 m, and then east 400 m to the property gate.
