Join us for the 16th annual Farmland Forum – a day of sharing, networking, and exploring policy innovation and land-use planning for the shifting landscape of farming in Ontario.

- Farmers;
- Land use planners;

- Provincial policy makers;

- Other individuals and organizations interested in farmland conservation.
This year’s topics and presentations include:
- Population forecasting in the Greater Toronto Area and the potential effects on housing, municipalities, and farmland protection.
- The shifting landscapes of farming throughout Ontario. What are the challenges being faced throughout the province? How can planning accommodate the range of farms to better protect all farmland in Ontario?
- Agricultural system mapping in areas where agriculture is a major economic driver and there is no provincial agricultural mapping in place.
- The Agricultural System in Ontario and how counties are evolving and adopting the Agricultural System in their own official plans.
