EU farm council fails to approve corn trait

Nov. 23, 2009  -The European Union's farm council voted last Friday against approving Syngenta's Agrisure corn trait. Traces of the biotech property were found in some EU-bound soybean and soymeal shipments from the US during the summer of 2009.
