DuPont Pioneer provides gift to Ridgetown Campus

June 4, 2013, Ridgetown, Ont. – The University of Guelph’s Ridgetown Campus was given a $200,000 gift from DuPont Pioneer to help the Ridgetown Campus Foundation exceed its $3.5 million campaign goal for a new Student Service and Alumni Centre.

The campus says its new Student Service and Alumni Centre will provide a one-stop location for all students and visitors to campus, including those who are considering Ridgetown for their future post-secondary education.

“I'm thrilled to accept this very generous gift on behalf of the campus,” said Ken McEwan, director, Ridgetown Campus, in a press release. “Thanks to DuPont Pioneer we are planning to open the doors of this new student service facility this September.”

Ridgetown Campus is one of four campuses of the Ontario Agricultural College. Established in 1874, OAC is one of the founding pillars of the University of Guelph.
