Cutworms and grasshoppers in Manitoba

June 25, 2014 - Cutworms remain a concern in some areas of Manitoba, according to Manitoba Agriculture, Food and Rural Development's (MAFRD) most recent insect and disease update. Cutworm levels, however, should start declining as some species of cutworms start to pupate.

In the meantime, grasshopper levels are high along field edges in some areas of the province.
