Clean Seed is the Canadian company behind the CX-6 SMART seeder, a wireless, software-controlled precision seeding technology. Harvest International used to develop and manufacture augers and conveyor systems, before transitioning fully to the planter market in 2017. Now Harvest International is a manufacturer of precision planting or ag leader ready planters and row units, as well as toolbars for strip-till.

The companies unveiled their new Clean Seed Smart Planter with an merged logo at Ag in Motion near Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, July 17, 2018.

“Following the granting of Clean Seed patents in the United States, we sought to find a synergistic industry partner with respected roots in the U.S. who would position us for accelerated growth and innovation,” says Graeme Lempriere, president and CEO of Clean Seed.
