Canadian soybean leaders sought

June 10, 2013, Ontario – The American Soybean Association (ASA) and DuPont Pioneer are seeking applicants for the 2014 Young Leader Program, and one couple or individual from Canada will be chosen to take part in the program for 2014.

Now in its 30th year, the ASA DuPont Young Leader program has a tradition of identifying and cultivating farmer leaders who are shaping the American soybean industry and all of agriculture. 

As part of the two-part training program, the 2014 class of ASA/DuPont Young Leaders will meet for the first time at Pioneer’s headquarters in Johnston, Iowa, from Nov. 19 to 22. The program will continue from Feb. 25 to March 1, 2014, in San Antonio, with training held in conjunction with the annual Commodity Classic Convention and Trade Show.

Applications will be accepted beginning June 10, and will be accepted until August 9. ASA, its 26 state affiliates, including the Grain Farmers of Ontario, and DuPont Pioneer, will work together to identify the top producers to represent their state as part of this program. One couple or individual from Canada will be chosen to participate. Interested applicants should visit
