Canadian farmers unite to call for investment

Jan. 18, 2010 -A coalition made up of four different grower organizations from across Canada is calling for the federal government to invest more in agronomic research. The group, Farmers for Investment in Agriculture, is asking the government to reverse a 40 percent drop in funding for agronomic research that has occurred since 1994.          READ MORE
