Canada welcomes free trade with Morocco

Oct. 12, 2011 - The first rounds of negotiations to establish a free trade agreement between Canada and Morocco have been met with considerable optimism by the federal ministers for Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. Such a deal would boost agricultural exports of wheat and pulses, and would be the first such agreement with an African nation.
