June 4, 2010, Brandon, Man. – On Friday, June 18, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Western Canada Farm Progress Show, BEHLEN Industries and Sakundiak Equipment in cooperation with Top Crop Manager will be announcing the winner of the Harvest Ready Contest.  The grand prize includes a 4100bu BEHLEN Hopper Mount Bin Combo and an HD8-1200 Sakundiak Belt Drive Auger. A total retail value of $18,000.00 makes this the largest grand prize ever given out in this contest.  The announcement will take place at the shared booth of Sakundiak Equipment, BEHLEN Industries LP and Meridian Manufacturing Group and is located at the heart of the show across from the Brandt Centre.

The Harvest Ready Contest is unique in the fact that the only way farmers can enter the contest is online. It has been in existence for a few years now and so far in 2010 has shown significant growth in interest, as entries have almost doubled.  Entry dates are from January through to June and producers can register for the contest at www.topcropmanager.com by simply completely the free subscription form.

"We are extremely pleased to be able to partner with BEHLEN/ Sakundiak and Farm Credit Canada in this season’s contest.  It is great to see winning contestants rewarded with the latest in equipment-technology, that will increase the efficiency in their farming operations", said Kevin Yaworsky, Western Sales Manager of Top Crop Manager.
