August 29, 2018 By Manitoba Pulse and Soybean Growers
Highlights from the report include:
- Soybean harvest began last week, but variable maturity rates within field might make harvesting difficult.
- Recent rainfall in Manitoba is too late to make an impact, and soybeans are more sensitive to drought during earlier pod-filling stages.
- Dry bean harvest is underway with very dry seed being reported as a harvest issue.

In addition to a crop update, the full Bean Report covers residue management for moisture conservation, soybean yield estimates for the province and preliminary results from the 2018 Disease Surveys. | READ MORE
