BASF registers HEAT LQ herbicide in Western Canada

Oct. 15, 2014 - BASF announced today it has received registration from the Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) for HEAT LQ herbicide for the 2015 season.

HEAT LQ is for pre-seed and pre-harvest use in Western Canada. According to BASF, HEAT LQ is a new convenient liquid formulation for faster fill-up times and improved tank clean-out. With Group 14 chemistry, HEAT LQ helps growers improve their glyphosate burndown in the spring and improve their harvest in the fall. It provides improved control of tough weeds like dandelion, volunteer canola, cleavers and kochia, including both Group 2- and glyphosate-resistant weed biotypes.

HEAT LQ will also be pre-packaged with MERGE adjuvant for easier handling and improved ease of use.
