In particular, the fund looks to reward a student who demonstrated active involvement in their agricultural community through fairs, 4-H, Junior Farmers, or related activities.

The application can be downloaded online and the deadline to apply is Nov. 30, 2019.

The fund was established by the Ontario Sugarbeet Growers Association (OSGA) in honour of the late Brian Fox, who was a respected Chatham-Kent farmer, leader in his community and founding chairman of the OSGA. The scholarship is funded by donations from various agricultural businesses in Ontario, the Michigan Sugar Company, the OSGA, and the Fox Family.
