Alberta Ag’s Call of the Land mobile app

Apr. 1, 2014, Edmonton, AB - Alberta Agriculture and Rural Development (ARD) has launched a Call of the Land mobile application. The app enables Android and iPhone users to access interviews, stories and upcoming events from the province's popular agriculture radio program.

The application's release coincides with the 61st anniversary of the radio program.

Call of the Land is a five day-a-week agricultural radio program produced by ARD. This information and extension program is aired on 25 Alberta radio stations, and reaches a daily audience of over 110,000 listeners.

The Call of the Land mobile application is available as a free download from the iTunes Store and will be available from Google Play in mid-April.
