John Deere is the only agricultural equipment manufacturer that currently develops its own precision farming products right from the vehicle on the ground to the differential correction signal. GreenStar Ag Management Solutions (AMS) has an extensive lineup of GPS-based vehicle and implement guidance systems.
The new GreenStar 3 (GS3) family of displays – the GS3 2630 display and the GS3 CommandCenter – are able to run applications such as AutoTrac and Swath Control Pro. Select models are now designed with video capability. The GS2 and GS3 colour displays comply with ISO 11783, meaning you may be able to control ISO-compliant air seeders, fertilizer applicators and planters from one display, reducing cab clutter.
Standard automated guidance systems:
- New Starfire 3000 GPS receiver providing roll, yaw and now “fore and aft” tilt terrain compensation as well as free access to GLONASS constellation corrections for enhanced system response and reliability.
- Integrated AutoTrac for John Deere vehicles with factory or field installed integrated steering control systems.
- AutoTrac Controller for controlling select non-John Deere platforms that have integrated steering.
- AutoTrac Universal steering system that fits more than 400 older Deere and non-Deere platforms. Advanced Automated Guidance systems:
- iSteer is the newest John Deere guidance enhancement. It is able to steer both the tractor and the implement independently.
- iGuide is a passive implement guidance system that will steer the tractor offline to keep the implement online on slopes or curves.
- Surface Water Pro, Surface Water Pro Plus and iGrade provide automatic guidance while performing elevation surveying, automated ditching and levee operations.
