Prince Edward Island invests in renewable energy on the farm

More signals that agriculture is the best bet

Jan. 29, 2010 -More financial analysis, this time from Mike Duffy of Iowa State University, that indicates over the long-term, $1000 invested in farmland (in Iowa) has earned higher returns (2.8 to 7.9 percent) in the past 50 years than the same amount of money invested in the S&P index (1.2 to 5.4 percent).                          READ MORE



Soybeans -record crops in South America

Jan. 28, 2010 -News from agricultural markets, be it North or South America or across th Pacific, is largely bearish, as record soybean crops in Argentina and Brazil are forecast, teamed with a decrease in Chinese imports and a rising US dollar, all indicate higher stocks for soybeans, with similar scenarios in wheat and corn.          READ MORE
