| Job Description | My client is focused on value added solutions for the food, fuel and feed chain. One word describes my client….innovative. They are focused on innovation and committed to delivering high quality biotechnology traits to the ethanol industry. One such innovation is a high value speciality grain that represents a proprietary breakthrough technology to improve the efficiency of production of dry grind ethanol. The Director of Account Management is a leadership role responsible for maximizing demand creation of proprietary enhanced grain technology targeted for the renewable fuels industry. This dynamic individual will play a significant role on negotiating teams to structure terms and finalize commercial agreements with senior level decision makers of major ethanol companies. The Director, Account Management will lead account management teams to ensure that tactical account plans and strategic business objectives are successfully executed at the field level. The individual will use proven selling and sales management skills to deliver enduring customer relationships with large ethanol industry leaders. Management Responsibilities: • Closely coordinate demand creation activities with demand fulfillment (grain operations). • Prepare ethanol industry segment plan; including prioritization of account targets based on market s segmentation criteria and business objectives. • Prepare detailed, action-oriented account plans for targeted ethanol accounts. Define business metrics and sales goals by account; establish cross-functional account teams as required to facilitate execution of account development activities (technical service, grain operations, stewardship, product sales and tech support, etc) • P&L responsibilities for ethanol customer value capture. Key Account Responsibilities: • Builds enduring customer relationships with commercial Ethanol companies. • Lead demand creation; deliver distinctive value propositions based on negotiated value share splits. • Manage and supervise account and technical service managers • Use proven value based selling skills to create long term customer “lock in”. • Use expertise in issues management and problem solving skills to anticipate and successfully resolve ethanol customer problems. |
